The idea of returning to Cameroon is full of thought and raises many questions: How will I find my way again? How will I cope with my family as well as with my community? Will I find a suitable house? What should I do if I am ill? The most important question remains however: Will I be able to find a job, a good one?
The aim of this article is to show the different steps on how a job search for returning and returned experts can be facilitated.
There are three points for job search:
1. You have to know yourself (your competence, your abilities as well as your skills),
2. You have to know the job environment,
3. The best strategy and the best equipment

The first thing to do is to define your competence. Here it is all about presenting, your technical knowledge and technical know-how are brought. These abilities can be acquired through training or auto-didactic development. It is also important to include what organizations provided the training as well as the year of obtaining.
In addition to this, professional experience should be added. It must describe exactly, in which companies this experience was acquired, the position occupied, as well as the various activities undertaken. It is also important to mention the duration of the activity. Other information, which can interest an employer, is: the knowledge of information Science or Informations Systems hobbies, social and political commitment.
However, knowing one self’s competence is not enough to be successful in job search. It is also important to know the realities of job market. It is important to know the different working conditions (requirements) that the companies offer to their workers; the characteristics required by the job market, the salary level as well as the conditions pertaining to labour law.
This is the correct strategy and the best way, and is very helpful for the employment search and that should not be neglected. It is also important to know how the application can reach the companies.
For the presentation of a CV, the most important elements should be clearly indicated in this article. It is important to mention that each job market requires a different way of presenting a CV.
While writing an application, the candidate should demonstrate that he /she knows his / her vocational field and provide a connecting link between him / her and the company, where he / she applies. The candidate should not repeat the information from the CV, but he / she is to bring the reader to raise interest in the reading of the CV.
